Cost Accountant Finance/Admin

ENVIRONMENT:
Our client, located in the scenic wine valley of Franschhoek, is seeking an outstanding Afrikaans-speaking Cost Accountant. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about overseeing all aspects of a businesss costing administration to become part of their team.
DUTIES:
- Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance compare actual costs to estimates and analyse any variances.
- Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers and product changes.
- Update BOMs as necessary.
- Assist with stock counts.
- Load cost estimates/quotes.
- Assist with recons/schedules.
- Prepare accurate records for old and new product costings.
- Maintain inventory and products.
- Draw audit information on a continuous basis.
- A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12) and a relevant tertiary qualification in finance and/or costing.
- At least 3 - 4 years experience in costing with retail concern.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
