Our client is looking for an exceptional Cost Accountant who is personable, detail orientated, and passionate about managing all aspects of a business' costing administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance - comparing actual costs to estimates and analysing any variances
Preparing cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers and product changes
Updating BOMs as necessary
Assisting with stock counts
Loading cost estimates/quotes
Assisting with recons/schedules
Preparing accurate records for old and new product costings
Maintaining inventory and products
Drawing audit information on a continuous basis
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric / Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification in finance and/or costing
At least 3 - 4 years' experience in costing within a retail concern
Experience using ERP systems
Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous
Experience using Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
