Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
BCom Degree
8 10 years' experience at a mine site or quarry
SKILLS:
Computer literate (MS Packages, advanced Excel)
Appropriate experience in cost and management accounting.
Financial analysis aptitude and ability to provide quality recommendations and solutions.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Control operational costs
Oversee Diesel and Weighbridge reports
Ensure adequate governance and system related controls exist that will allow for the preparation of a valid & complete budget and forecast submission
Analyse and provide commentary on variances between forecast, actuals and budget and make recommendations where necessary
Review final commercial cost close-out and submit accurate billing requirements timeously
Prepare monthly management cost reports and advise on appropriate interventions
Analyse cost variances, prepare performance reporting commentary and financial presentations
