Job and Company Description:
I am in search of a candidate who possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and proven expertise in cost and management accounting within a plant setting (preferably). The chosen candidate will assume the role of overseeing product costing and cost centre accounting.
As the Cost Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Providing support for capital and Bill of Materials (BOM) related projects
- Budgeting and forecasting (Quarterly forecast pack)
- Reporting (Oversee, analyse and interrogate and weekly and monthly reports)
- Financial Management and sales analytics (Performance analysis and profitability reviews)
- Analyse cost against budgets and forecast
- Information and data management.
- Team coordination
- BCom or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years management accounting and profitability analysis experience.
- Have demonstrated experience in analytics.
- Experience in a plant.
- Have demonstrated experience in Fixed assets accounting.
