is looking for an energeticCost Accountant
to take charge of product costing, yield analysis, and margin optimisation across our dynamic food manufacturing operations.This is more than a desk job -- you'll be working closely with production teams, diving into operations to ensure financial accuracy and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate standard costs and BOMs in the ERP system Analyse cost variances and monitor gross margins by product, category & customer Collaborate with operations to align financial data with real-time production performance Support pricing, NPD, and forecasting with solid cost-based insights Ensure system integrity and contribute to continuous improvement
What You'll Need:
5 years' experience in cost accounting within food/FMCG (essential) Bachelor's degree in Cost Accounting, Finance, or similar. CIMA qualification preferred. ERP system proficiency (e.g. Syspro, Sage, SAP) Strong Excel and financial modelling skills A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach
