Manufacturing concern, based on the East Rand, is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their finance team. Syspro experience as well as experience within manufacturing industry highly advantageous.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Matric
- BCom Accounting/ National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting/ similar
- Syspro experience advantageous
- Experience within a manufacturing concern highly preferred
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans essential
- Ability to lead and develop costing processes
- Team player with loads of energy to motivate this relatively new department as part of the finance structure
- High level of attention to detail
- Analysis and allocation of manufacturing and overhead cost (SMCP vs AMCP)
- Budgeting
- Accuracy of inventory values to be monitored
- PPV analysis feedback
- Sales GP% analysis
- Accuracy of warehouse volumes
- Monitoring of slow moving inventory items
- Assisting with stock take process and capturing
- Ability to trace stock movements
- PPV analysis feedback
