My client has over 26 years in the distribution industry, distributing not only locally but throughout Africa catering to industries such as wholesalers, retailers, contractors and the DIY industry with a Level 2 BBBEE status. The chosen incumbent will be responsible for preparing financial reports monthly management statements, issuing invoices, Filing tax returns, including VAT, Processing and reconciling supplier accounts, journals, accounts, petty cash and VAT reports, Assisting in overseeing the External year end Audit, Assisting with the implementation of controls within the organisation, Assisting in departmental budgeting and costs cutting initiatives, Performing analytical review, and Assisting in BEE Audits.
Qualification and Skills Required:
- BCom Financial Accounting.
- SAIPA or SAICA articles advantageous.
- 1-3 years experience.
- Syspro experience or a similar system.
- Experience in the Manufacturing and distribution industry advantageous.
