Job Summary
Position available for a Cost Accountant who will be responsible for performing cost analysis, affecting corrections where needed and preparing management reports.

Minimum requirements:
- Completed degree in Accounting
- Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles
- 3 years working experience in a similar role
- Computer literate: MS Excel; MS Word and MS Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical skills
- Good administrative and financial skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Organised
- Diligent
- Analyse reports from the various costing systems, identify incorrect and incomplete records and affect corrections
- Collect costing information, compile monthly standard journals and post journals to system
- Collect monthly production information and input it into the costing system
- Update, review and make recommendations on cost-efficiency and send out monthly management reports
- Input new and revised budgets into the costing system
- Be part of team that revise, improve and / or create new processes, reporting systems and costing systems
- Other duties within the scope of the role
