Job Description
A well-established short term insurer is seeking to appoint a Corporate Underwriter
The Corporate Underwriter will be required to perform the full corporate underwriting tasks and participate in the implementation of the underwriting and re-insurance strategy.
Qualifications:
- Matric
- NQF level 7 qualification (BCom degree or similar)
- Higher Certificate in Short-term Insurance
- RE 5 will be an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Corporate Property Insurance
- Experience in leading and/or underwriting corporate property accounts
- Portfolio management is advantageous
- Experience in negotiating reinsurance placements advantageous
