Position Overview:
The Corporate Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving business growth within the courier industry by focusing on acquiring and managing corporate clients. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the logistics and courier sector, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within corporate organizations.

Responsibilities: * Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target potential corporate clients within a designated territory or industry vertical.
  • Research and gather information on potential clients to understand their couriers and needs.
  • Client Acquisition:
  • Present the company's services, capabilities, and value proposition to corporate clients.
  • Develop tailored solutions to meet the specific needs and requirements of each corporate client.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of our services, including timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, such as procurement managers, supply chain managers, and logistics directors.
  • Act as the main point of contact for corporate clients, addressing any concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategies:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within the corporate client segment.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to align strategies and share insights from the corporate client market.
  • Market Insights:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the courier and logistics sector.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market trends and client needs to help shape the company's service offerings.
  • Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for the sales manager and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Matric, relevant tertiary education such as a Bachelor's degree advantageous
  • Strong understanding of the courier and logistics industry, including knowledge of delivery, and supply chain processes
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, with a focus on corporate client
  • Strategic and dynamic in solution selling
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and results-driven
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tool
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Own car essential
