Bryanston, Johannesburg: SHOPPING CENTRE MANAGER
Minimum Requirements:
-Professional and well presentable Afrikaans speaking female, preferably aged approximately 30-50 years
-Afrikaans and English first & second languages a must (Afr & Eng client base)
-Matric / Grade 12
-Recent proven work experience in Commercial / Retail Property Management a must (e.g. Shopping Centre Management, Retail Centre Management etc.) – NOT residential- and NOT retail store management experience
-Experienced in handling all aspects of Commercial leasing, including negotiations, renewals and leases
-Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
-Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
-Strong administrative skills
-Collaborative team player with hands-on approach
-Excellent communications-, organisational- and problem solving skills
-Residing in / near Bryanston (within daily commuting distance)
-Willing and able to travel to Lynnwood, Pta once per week to attend mandatory weekly meetings
-Stable employment record and contactable employment references
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Full shopping centre / property centre operations management duties for Property Management company based at Shopping Centre in Bryanston (on-site)
-Operations management (Financial budgeting, coordinate & execute events and programs, staff management, oversee security operations, ensure overall functionality of shopping centre)
-Property Management (Oversee maintenance and upkeep of shopping centre to ensure a safe, clean and appealing environment for Tenants and Customers)
-Tenant- & Customer Relations (Maintain relationships with tenants, address concerns/inquiries/complaints, ensure high level of customer service)
-Leasing & Reporting (Manage leasing process, negotiate lease terms & renewals, ensure occupancy targets are met, prepare reports etc.)
-Health and Safety Compliance (Ensure validity of certificates)
-Compliance and Risk Management (Oversee compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies, and manage risks associated with property)
-Implement innovative and creative solutions to improve centre operations and customer satisfaction.
-Travel to Lynnwood once per week to attend mandatory weekly meetings
Salary: R 20 000.00 – R 25 000.00 gross maximum
