Wordsmiths where you at? We have a superb, on-site opportunity for a sharp, versatile Junior or Mid Copywriter to join the friendly, high-energy team at a bustling full-service advertising agency in Cape Town.
The agency works Through-The-Line (TTL), so you'll be ideating and writing for everything from social media and digital campaigns to traditional print, video scripts and long-form content. The ideal candidate is someone who can switch seamlessly between all media and markets. We are looking for an integrated creative who isn't just a "writer" - you are a thinker and a problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Ideation: Brainstorming fresh, creative concepts that work across multiple channels.
• Writing: Crafting clean, compelling, and brand-accurate copy for a wide range of audiences.
• Adaptability: Switching "voices" seamlessly between different industries and platforms.
• Independent Execution: Taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through once you've mastered our internal processes and client nuances.
• Collaboration: Working closely with our teams to hit the mark every time and going home (at a decent time) with a feeling of accomplishment.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

• Relevant tertiary qualification from AAA, Red & Yellow or Vega.
• 2-3 years' traditional through the line advertising agency experience.
• Logical & Creative: You have the flair for a great headline, but the logic to ensure the message makes sense for the business.
• AI-Fluent: You don't see AI as a threat; you see it as a superpower. Experience using ChatGPT and Gemini to speed up research and refine drafts is highly recommended.
• A Team Player: You're ready to roll up your sleeves and help the team, but you're equally comfortable flying solo when the mission is clear.
• Curious: You're genuinely interested in learning about businesses you never knew existed.
