Job Summary ENERGY xe2x97x8f ELECTRICITY GENERATION AND DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR: DISTRICTS TCOE SALARY: R1 174 257 PER ANNUM xe2x97x8f REF NO: NRG 80/23 Requirements: xe2x80xa2 A National diploma in Electrical Engineering xe2x80xa2 Electrical Engineer's Certificate of Competency (Factories) xe2x80xa2 Eight (8) years managerial experience in the Electrical Engineering field xe2x80xa2 Experience in the preparation of capital and operating budget proposals xe2x80xa2 A valid Code B driver's licence Key Performance Areas: xe2x80xa2 Manage the key performance areas within the District through investigation, analysis and interpretation of developmental requirements against the capacity and capability of the District to achieve its service delivery objectives xe2x80xa2 Identify and define immediate, short- and long-term objectives/plans associated with the District in terms of forward planning xe2x80xa2 Direct and control the key performance Indicators of personnel to promote productivity, performance and staff development within a District xe2x80xa2 Prepare capital and operating budget proposals and motivate and control expenditure against approved budget allocations xe2x80xa2 Manage the formulation of specific contracts and tender documents and control the specified contractual obligations xe2x80xa2 Direct and control the professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with the functions of the District Please apply online at www.capetown.gov.za/careers (external applicants) or via the SAP Portal (internal applicants), unless otherwise stated.
