Our prestigious law firm client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Take full ownership of property transactions from start to finish, working with both residential and commercial transfers in a fast-paced legal environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional to showcase their expertise with a leading firm.
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end transaction management for residential and commercial property transfers
• File preparation and management according to strict legal specifications
• Administrative support for the Conveyancing Director's legal practice
• Stakeholder liaison with banks, municipalities, rates consultants, estate agents, and Deeds Office
• Document drafting and preparation of legal documentation
• Certificate procurement including Transfer Duty and Rates Clearance certificates
• Lodgements and registrations of transfers, bond cancellations, and new bonds
• Financial administration for all conveyancing transactions
• Client communication and correspondence management

Essential Requirements

• Matric certificate (non-negotiable)
• 3-5 years conveyancing secretarial experience
• Standard Bank Home Loans system experience (essential)
• Advanced MS Office proficiency across all packages
• Conveyancing software expertise including Lexis Convey, Lotus Notes, Web Convey, E4 portal, and Windeed
• Basic Aderant Expert CMS knowledge an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Legal secretary, paralegal, or conveyancing qualification
