Requirements:

Qualifications: Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer in South Africa (Notary qualification advantageous) Experience: Minimum 5+ years post-admission experience in conveyancing Client Base: Must have an established and active client base Skills & Attributes: Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing and property law Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail Client-centric, professional, and results-driven Proven ability to generate and sustain business Other Requirements: Must be able to work independently and as part of a team; strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle the full spectrum of conveyancing matters, including property transfers, mortgage bonds, cancellations, and related transactions Draft, review, and manage conveyancing documentation in compliance with legal requirements Liaise with clients, estate agents, banks, and other stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process Manage client relationships and build on an existing client base to contribute to firm growth Ensure all matters are managed efficiently, within deadlines, and in compliance with regulatory standards Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, if required * Family law experience advantageous
