Position Overview
The role of a Controller: Quality Control is to ensure that specific quality standards and specifications throughout the Truck/VANS service process are met, playing a crucial role in maintaining service integrity and customer satisfaction.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Manage staff Key Performance Areas:
Prioritizing workload
Keep W I P under control
Compile reports
Inform Product Support Department of product failures
Ensure that technical information is updated
Ensuring that warranty claims are administered and to ensure warranty parts are in the warranty store.
Quality Control of vehicles to ensure top quality workmanship and to ensure that all customer complaints/requirements have been attended to.
Proper cost control
Additional duties will be given and many change from time to time as required
Providing customers with excellent service:
Ensuring that work is carried out to Mercedes-Benz Standard and as arranged / agreed with customers
Constant customer/service advisor feed back
Handle customer queries
Give feedback on Tactix complaints
Qualifications and Experience
Matric / N3
Trade Test qualification(Diesel Technician/Motor Mechanic) will be an added advantage
Five-year experience on Daimler Trucks & Bus products a must (Mercedes-Benz Trucks or Mercedes-Benz Vans or FUSO)
Clear Criminal Record
A Valid Driver's License C1, EC
