The purpose of the role is to oversee the Control Room operations, camera monitoring, investigations patrols, searches, and administrative support - at all times - providing outstanding customer service to our clients and business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Take ownership of all aspects of the security team and environment ensuring appropriate operational service delivery
Ensure employees are fluent and at all times compliant with policies and procedures
Manage employee performance (such as absence monitoring, presentation standards, etc.)
Maintain and verify that employees have access to the necessary tools, equipment and information required to perform their duties
Ensure onsite incidents are responded to and reported efficiently and accurately
Provide guidance and support to employees
Work with Securitas Branch team(s) to ensure rosters are managed and implemented correctly and that an adequate backup (or relief) team of employees are available and arranged when necessary to maintain post coverage
Report key information metrics to internal teams regarding onsite service delivery
Assist management with ad-hoc requests
Ensure site documentation is maintained and up to date at all times
Provide consistently high levels of customer service
Complete continuous training and development activities
Seek to enhance the security stature of the site by recommending innovations and new ways of working to site management
Represent the client and the business in a way that maintains the standards, brand and values of both
Data analysis and reporting
Ensure site compliance as per Securitas operational and legislative requirements ( Health and Safety, PSIRA and LMS etc)
Competency Requirements
Ability to work with integrity whilst unsupervised
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment
Data analysis (being able to interpret data)
Presentation skills

Education/Experience
Matric / Grade 12
Tertiary qualification (Advantageous)
Registered Grade A PSIRA Certificate
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the private security industry, control room experience
At least 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory/management role, experience managing a small to medium team
Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV, vision device)
Experience using relevant systems (Lenel, Optics and Milestone etc)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Computer literate with the ability to work on different software and platforms
Own vehicle (Advantageous)
