Control Room Operator
Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and alert Control Room Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, alarms and CCTV footage.
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to alarms and incidents
Respond to alarms and take corrective action to maintain safe and efficient operation.
Coordinate with security teams and emergency services to respond to incidents
Maintain accurate records and logs of incidents and activities
Conduct regular checks on equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
Matric certificate(Grade 12)
PSIRA certificate
CCTV Training certificate
Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
Basic Computer skills
Skills:
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Analytical thinking and problem-solving
Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
Familiarity with security systems and software(e.g Amatrack, Intelligent monitor, Fleetcam,FSK, Smart PCC for cameras & smart PSS/Light)
Job Type: Full-time
Ability to commute/relocate:
Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
Control room operator: 1 year (Required)
Work Location: In person
