Contracts Manager (high Voltage)
Job Description
Our client is one of Southern Africa's leading multidisciplinary construction groups, with a solid reputation for delivering large-scale infrastructure, industrial, and building projects across the region. The company provides a comprehensive range of services encompassing civil engineering, roads and earthworks, mechanical and electrical installations, as well as mining and energy infrastructure.
Main responsibilities is to oversee the full life cycle of high-voltage project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, specifications, and objectives. Manage budgets, variations, and claims to maintain profitability and cost control. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve issues and support delivery. Identify and mitigate contractual, technical, and safety risks in line with statutory and company standards.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current preferred)
- ECSA registration or eligibility (Pr Tech Eng / Pr Eng)
- Project management certification advantageous
- Strong knowledge of OHS Act, SANS standards, and HV regulations
