Contracts Manager - Foreman - Cape TownOwn carValid SA ID, and or PassportSober HabitsExcellent Communication skillsRelevant Work ExperienceNo criminal recordEffective planning of teams, ensuring efficient use of Teamxe2x80x99s time (to be fully productive) to complete works in the shortest time and ensure targets are reached.Quality control of the physical works and installations on site.Overseeing of outstanding work per project.Attending site meetingsConducting AMTxe2x80x99s, Inspections, and testing and compiling reports.Conducting soil resistivity surveysControl installation of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with drawings and site specificationsOn site supervision on various larger projects as required. This may require you to stay on site (out of town) until the project is completeStock control Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties. All paperwork to be submitted timeously, in a neat and accurate mannerConstruction and Electrical background advantageousAble to read construction drawingsxe2x80xa2 Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnelDelegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractorsRecruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractorsProviding adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needsEmphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and proceduresDeveloping and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sitesResolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicablyRegularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officialsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From R18,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Expected Start Date: 2023/09/11
