who will be responsible for provide an efficient, effective and integrated contracts management service to the Afrirent Fleet Division. This involves managing compliance to contracted service level agreements (SLA's) for all fleet contracts to ensure that clients receive the highest quality service, identifying and highlighting risks and implementing risk mitigation measures throughout the duration of each contract, thereby contributing to the short- and medium-term profitability of the Afrirent Fleet Division.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts Management
Leads, plans and oversees the contracts management services of Afrirent Fleet
Manages the implementation of each project / contract and ensures that all project plan deliverables and deadlines are met
Monitors adherence to client and vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLA's)
Ensures that all contracts are financially sustainable through thorough planning and protocol management
Prepares all necessary reports and documentation and participates in contract negotiations and reviews
Identifies and highlights potential SLA performance risks and ensures that corrective measures are implemented to mitigate any non-compliance
Monitors vehicle breakdowns of the fleet vehicles and collaborates with the Technical Advisor and KAE's to make cost-effective repair / maintenance decisions in order to minimise the vehicle's downtime
Stakeholder Management
Maintains effective stakeholder and business relationships through appropriate relationship building, networking and reporting activities to promote retention and growth
Communicates with clients on a continuous basis in order to raise issues identified, deal with contractual matters and compliance with SLA's
Ensures that all audits conducted by the client are passed and adhered to
Collaborates with all relevant internal stakeholders to improve processes and create efficiencies such as invoicing, reporting and client management
Budget Management
Develops the annual Departmental budget
Monitors expenditure in line with the approved budget on an on-going basis
Ensures strict adherence to the approved budget
People Management
Manages the unit in line with company policies
Fosters a suitable and supportive environment conducive to staff development and the achievement of Departmental objectives
Implements staff development and training to achieve the unit and organisational objectives
Implements performance management and monitors the performance of subordinate staff
Participates in the recruitment and selection of subordinate staff
