SUMMARY:
An internal vacancy exists for a Contract Manager in the Guarding Division KZN based in Richards Bay
The suitable candidates main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
POSITION INFO:
- Manage and oversee security contracts, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise security personnel to maintain a high level of performance.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to protect assets, personnel, and operations.
- Liaise with clients, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to enhance security strategies.
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance standards.
- Prepare reports, incident logs, and operational updates for senior management.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Grade A security qualification (PSIRA registered).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in security management, preferably in the smelter, mining, or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of security risk management, asset protection, and incident response.
- Ability to manage large teams and handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid drivers license and own transport.
