Job Summary Position Contracts manager Location: Midrand, Gauteng Type: Permanent Our client The company is a providing integrated services in renewable energy and infrastructure areas. It engages in architectural projects, electric power investment, house property and real estate, research and development, and design and manufacture of construction equipment. The company was founded in 1950. Responsibilities: xe2x80xa2 Manage and plan all technical aspects of each project and approve all program plans and method statements submitted to the client. xe2x80xa2 Prepare and manage budgets and costing. xe2x80xa2 Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials are carried out in accordance with company procedures to best value and to prevent delays. xe2x80xa2 Occasional Finalize Tenders and verify prices before submission. xe2x80xa2 Ensure site compliance with company commercial policies and procedures. xe2x80xa2 Ensure all required tests are timeously undertaken (Quality Assurance) xe2x80xa2 Attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team! xe2x80xa2 Ensure a commercial plan and end-of-life forecast are in place and monitor monthly for the successful commercial delivery of the project. xe2x80xa2 Advise the Operations Director on Civils Related Contractual and Technical matters. xe2x80xa2 Ensure correct commercial engagement of subcontractors (rates, contracts agr
