The role of the Continued Airworthiness Specialist is to manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the safety and airworthiness of the fleet. This includes developing and implementing effective maintenance programs, managing maintenance records, conducting audits, and collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement maintenance programs for aircraft in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Manage maintenance records, including scheduling and tracking maintenance activities, ensuring accurate documentation, and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization, including flight operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities into overall operational processes.
Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to approved maintenance procedures and standards.
Identify emerging trends and technologies related to aircraft maintenance and propose innovative solutions to enhance maintenance practices and improve efficiency.
Job Qualifications:
Relevant qualification in the Aviation or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in CAMO
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements governing aircraft maintenance, such as those set by EASA, FAA, or similar authorities.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and under pressure, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Proficiency in computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with maintenance management systems and other relevant aircraft maintenance tools and equipment.
