Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Content Services Manager with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale content migration projects and leading content management teams. This is a remote role based in South Africa, where you will collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.


In this role, you will take responsibility for delivering content migration and management services to our clients. You will plan, organize, and implement content-related activities while ensuring that content management teams operate efficiently and meet performance requirements. Acting as the main liaison between clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders, you will focus on clear communication, high-quality results, and continuous improvement of services.

Responsibilities

Supervise and guide content management teams, ensuring workloads are effectively allocated, performance is monitored, and goals are clearly outlined Develop and implement content migration strategies, including onboarding, process design, KPI development, and reporting structures within a defined migration framework Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving issues raised by clients or internal teams Oversee governance of services, from resource planning and forecasting to successful delivery and ongoing optimization Provide regular updates on service performance through detailed reviews, analytics, and reporting Lead process improvement initiatives to identify and implement more efficient ways of working Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and timelines

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in content management, ideally working with multi-brand or multinational clients A proven track record in handling complex content migrations, including platform transitions such as Sitecore to AEM or WordPress to Contentful Strong expertise in content migration frameworks, tools, and team roles Demonstrated ability to manage and develop remote, cross-functional teams with a focus on leadership and motivation Experience in creating scalable workflows, process documentation, and performance tracking tools Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in fast-paced environments Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Detail-oriented with a strong focus on driving continuous improvement Proficiency in tools such as Excel (formulas, pivot tables), PowerPoint (workshops and presentations), and Word (structured templates and documentation)
