Job Summary The Content Editor / Publisher is responsible for creating, editing, and publishing high-quality, engaging digital content that reflects Visit Qatar's brand voice and inspires global audiences. This role ensures all written content is clear, accurate, SEO-optimized, and culturally authentic, supporting Qatar's positioning as a world-class destination
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality, engaging written content for Visit Qatar's website and digital platforms
Edit and refine existing content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment
Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all published content
Optimize content for SEO best practices while preserving a natural and engaging writing style
Research Qatar's attractions, culture, history, heritage, and events to create informed and authentic content
Collaborate with marketing, digital, and design teams to support content campaigns
Ensure content meets editorial standards, style guides, and publishing guidelines
Proofread and quality-check content before publishing
Manage content updates and publishing schedules as required
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Content Editor, Copywriter, or Digital Content Publisher
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
Ability to adapt writing style to match brand voice and audience expectations
Research-driven approach to content creation
Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar)
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Desirable Experience
Experience in tourism, travel, hospitality, or destination marketing
Familiarity with Middle Eastern culture or regional tourism landscapes
Knowledge of digital content performance metrics
