Content Assistant

Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility around how those hours are structured.

The Extension Studio is a premium hair extension brand and hair loss solutions studio focused on confidence, care, and emotional wellbeing.

We're a small, founder-led team that values thoughtful creativity, flexibility, and clear thinking. We're looking for someone technically capable, curious, and comfortable thinking beyond templates and trends.

This role is ideal for someone early in their content or marketing career who enjoys analysing content, generating fresh ideas, and editing short-form video.

Role & Responsibilities

Content Research & Insights

Research digital content within beauty, hair loss, confidence, and lifestyle spaces Identify trends, hooks, formats, and emotional angles Share weekly insights on what's working and why

Content Ideation

Develop fresh content ideas based on research Suggest new formats, angles, and series concepts Help prevent content repetition and creative fatigue

Short-Form Editing & Repurposing

Edit short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels Apply feedback and refine edits thoughtfully Create simple carousels and repurpose existing content across formats

Requirements

Reliable internet access and access to a personal laptop suitable for remote work Strong interest in digital marketing, social media and content trends Experience using CapCut, Canva, or similar tools Excellent written communication and attention to detail Openness to feedback and willingness to improve quickly Interest in beauty, confidence, or wellness brands
