We are looking for a well-skilled Project Manager with specific experience in the management consulting space working with Public Sector clients. Be part of a business who fosters lasting relationships with clients built on trust, delivering consistent results over time. Strategic implementation that brings tangible, sustainable results across various sectors. This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential to become a permanent role.
Your role will see you leading a dynamic and exciting project in the Public Service industry. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex projects is required. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and lead project teams to successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver project outcomes within defined scope, schedule, and budget

• Lead teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration

• Track progress, manage risks and issues, and adjust plans as needed

• Oversee budgets and ensure effective cost control

• Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices

• Report progress and status to stakeholders and senior leadership

Requirements

• Completed BA or Bcom degree in Business, management, or related field

• Post Graduate qualification in Project Management or certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification ideal

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a project manager

• Proven track record of experience in management consulting (banking industry preferred)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Understanding of the Microsoft Power Platforms product suite with advanced Power BI capabilities

• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
