Construction Supervisor Report to: Construction Manager
Type: Contractor
Location: Lephalale
Qualifications:
N6 technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in medium to large projects.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in control and instrumentation projects, preferably in the power plant sector. Familiarity with contract management, particularly NEC contracts, is essential. A clear understanding of construction regulations as per the OHS act and DOL is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise subcontractor work
- Interface with clients on construction and installation matters
- Plan construction and installation activities
- Track and report progress
- Maintain minimal non-conformances
- Assist in risk management
- Hand over completed installations to clients
- Manage materials and inventory on site
