Construction Site Manager

Requirements & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required. 5+ years of experience in site management or a leadership role in construction. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents. Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently. Proficient in reporting, documentation, and communication. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Medically fit and able to perform site inspections. Clean criminal record. Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Legal Liability in construction will be beneficial..

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all construction activities on-site, ensuring the project stays on schedule and within budget. Coordinate and manage site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain productivity. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor and control the quality of workmanship, ensuring standards are met. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues. Work closely with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders to align on goals. Prepare and maintain site reports, logs, and compliance documentation. Address on-site challenges and find effective solutions to keep the project running smoothly. Ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and labor as needed. Handle emergency situations and enforce safety protocols.
