CONSTRUCTION SALES REPRESENTATIVE (GAUTENG, KZN, FS)Overview: Achieve Sales targets, action plans and goals as set by management, by effectively servicing new and existing customers and increasing sales of various construction products.Duties:Sales Target Achievement: Proactively meeting or exceeding sales goals set by management. This includes monitoring progress against targets, analyzing performance, and adapting strategies as needed.Customer Engagement: Building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers. Prioritizing excellent service to ensure loyalty and repeat business.Strategic Planning: Developing action plans that align with management's objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, targeting new market segments, and positioning construction products effectively.Product Knowledge & Promotion: Demonstrating a deep understanding of the construction products being sold. Leveraging this knowledge to communicate value, address customer needs, and ultimately drive increased sales.Problem Solving: Being solutions-oriented to tackle challengeswhether it's troubleshooting issues for a customer or overcoming market competition.Increase sales at existing customersRequirements:Civil Engineering qualification with good understanding of technical drawingsExperience working on a construction site (Site Agent or similar)Good construction and / or industrial product knowledgeA sales/marketing qualification would be advantageousGood knowledge of construction clientsApplicant must be willing to do country trips when required.Applicant must be willing to work flexible hours, when called upon to do so.In possession of a valid unendorsed drivers license.In possession of own vehicleComputer literateRemuneration:Negotiable package (R20k to R25k) plus fuel allowance and commissionSkills Strategic Planning, Flexible, Problem Solving, Sales Goals, technical drawings, Construction products knowledge
