Job Summary Our client is looking for Construction Project Manager.xc3x82 This role will expose you to a diverse working environment with endless opportunities to grow as an individual and to work for an organization that promotes equality.xc3x82 This is a fixed term contract (3 year fixed term contract) xc3x82 (This role is available immediately) Minimum Requirements: xc3x82 The minimum qualification required is a National Diploma/Degree/Honours in any Built Environment Minimum of 4 years of experience Compulsory registration with the Professional Council (Proof of registration as a Candidates Construction Project Manager with SACPCMP to be attached to the CV and originals to be submitted upon appointments). xc3x82 Responsibilities: Guide and implement the project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation in line with project management methodology. Ensure projects are aligned to the Framework for Infrastructure Delivery and Procurement Management. Input/develop infrastructure plans in line with Government Immovable Asset Management Act (GIAMA). Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities, manage project estimates and controlling line with allocated budget, manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards to minimize risks on projects. Report project progress to the Director. Manage project budget and resources. Provide inputs to other professionals with tender administration. Liaise and interact with service providers, clients and management Develop terms of reference for identified projects Utilize resources allocated effectively. Keep abreast with new technologies and procedures. Conduct research on and contribute to policy development. Liaise with relevant bodies/ councils on project management. Contribute towards the formulation of norms and standards when required.
