Construction Manager Structural Engineer
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Will be responsible for placing orders on erectors, for erection related costs and subcontract erectors accounts and corrosion protection accounts.
Must maintain the project erection schedule and chair project erection weekly meetings.
Will be responsible for recording all site related project extras and for the pricing of all site related activities and extras.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Engeering Degree
Must have a minimum of ten years experience
Must have the knowledge and skills to liaise closely with and work with the Consulting Engineers, Project Managers, Architects and Main Contractors.
Must have a good understanding of what things cost in the steel contracting environment and what can and cant be achieved from timing point of view, particularly with respect to the installation of steelwork on the various types of construction sites.
Must have good people management skills
Must have good knowledge of Health and Safety
Willing to travel
