Construction Manager (Hybrid) - Kathu, Northern CapeWe are currently in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Construction Manager/Site Agent to become part of our client's team. In this capacity, you will assume the responsibility of overseeing and directing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to stipulated timelines, financial parameters, and the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities:Organize and oversee construction projects, encompassing planning, scheduling, and budgeting.Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.Monitor and regulate project advancement, making necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.Effectively coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Manage and control project budgets, reviewing and approving relevant expenditures.Supervise the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project requirements.Conduct regular on-site inspections to identify and address any issues or potential risks impacting project timelines.Ensure compliance of all construction activities with applicable health and safety standards and regulations.Prepare and submit project progress reports to management and clients, emphasizing key milestones and accomplishments.Requirements:A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Agent or in a similar role.Construction Manager registered with SACPCMPPossession of a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Robust knowledge and comprehension of construction processes, methods, and materials.Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and delivering construction projects within specified timelines and budgets.Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, focused on achieving successful outcomes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering the establishment and maintenance of relationships with clients and stakeholders.Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.Proficiency in construction management software and tools.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.Job Type: Part-timeSalary: R20,000.00 - R24,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 24 per weekExperience:Project Management in Construction: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:valid registration with the SACPCMP (Required)Ability to Commute:Kathu, Northern Cape (Required)
