Job Summary
We (sinogy.co.za) are seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Construction Engineer. As part of our team, you will be the primary project manager for various construction projects, and you will be involved from inception and planning to construction and opening. You work with clients to determine project scopes and budgets, oversee logistics and procurement, and manage worksites and project completion. This is a very detail-oriented and senior position, so our ideal applicant has considerable professional experience in construction and engineering. You should also have excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Liaise with client representatives to determine project needs, scope, and budget
Ensure the highest quality work in terms of material, safety, and construction
Oversee vendor relationship management and foster new relationships with important partner organizations
Manage on-site procedures involving all aspects of construction and project completion
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a relevant field
Minimum Five years of experience in construction engineering and project management
Registered with Engineer council
Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, including logistics, procurement, and regulatory reporting requirements
Superb organizational and leadership skills
