Position Overview:
We are seeking a
strong, hands-on Construction Manager/ Building Foreman
with10+ years of experience
in overseeing building projects and coordinating multiple subcontractors and casuals. The ideal candidate is a decisive leader, skilled in planning, problem-solving, and managing teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and safely, someone who can manage multiple tasks and ensure smooth operations with accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all building activities on site from start to completion. Coordinate and supervise multiple subcontractors and casuals, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress, building materials and resources. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Identify and resolve potential issues or delays proactively. Manage teams efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years' experience as a Construction Manager, Building Site Foreman or similar role. Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously on medium to large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of building processes, materials, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions on-site. Relevant qualifications in construction management or civil engineering is an advantage.
We Offer:
R20 000 salary per month which is negotiable depending on suitability.
