Conservation Officer - Cape Town Research
Western Cape ~ Cape Town
We have an opportunity for our Client based in Cape Town, who requires the services of a Temp Conservation Officer within their Biodiversity department.
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12/Matric
Nature Conservation Degree
Experience in Biomass Insulated Concrete programmes
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting with the implementation of the Carbon Smart Skills Development Programme.
2. Liaison with different line departments, private land owners, communities and partners is a key performance area.
3. Assist with the monitoring and evaluation of the Carbon Smart Programme.
4. Preparing data for capture into various databases.
5. Assisting with meetings.
6. Conducting site visits.
7. Various general administration tasks.
Other skills/requirements:
Invasive species project management or reserve management.
Valid Code B (08) driver's license with 3 years driving experience.
EPWP Project experience will be an added advantage.
