Planning and managing of weekly classes
Preparation and delivery of learning content
Consultation on practical projects
Develop learning material if required
Organize additional workshops and field trips
Assessment of formative and summative assessments.
General academic administration:
Record student attendance
Identify students at risk
Set up additional support for students
Record student results
Present the qualification at open days
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (NQF Level 4) - Minimum. ETDP/ODETDP Qualification (NQF Level 5) or equivalent in Education, Training, and Development - Preferred
Ideal for a graduate
Key Competencies:
Knowledge and understanding of the South African higher education systems and regulatory framework.
Knowledge and understanding of the Teaching and Learning theory and interventions. The ability to provide student support services. The ability to work with and learn more about digitalized academic platforms. The ability to cope with a frequently changing environment and to adapt to evolving situations. Ability to adhere to rules and strictly follow work regulations. Deadline orientated and can work well under pressure. Ability to manage time effectively.
Working Hours :
From 08h00am until 17h00pm, Monday to Friday.
