Job Description

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that'll processes, and products adhere to internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards. This role will involve monitoring compliance with food safety standards, conducting audits, and assisting in the continuous improvement of our compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce compliance with ISO , FSSC, Halala etc standards across all business units. Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to meet legal and regulatory requirements. Oversee food safety protocols, including hygiene practices, production standards, and quality assurance processes. Complete checklists for receiving fresh produce, frozen product storage, production, and dispatch, checking dates and labels. Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise management on necessary adjustments to processes and practices. Train staff on compliance and quality control-related matters, including food safety practices and regulatory updates. Prepare and maintain compliance and quality-related documentation, including audit reports and incident records. Assist with the investigation of non-compliance incidents and implement corrective actions. Conduct product testing and tasting, documenting findings to ensure standards are met. Oversee preparation of quality reports and compliance paperwork, maintaining accurate records.

Additional Requirements:

Qualification in this field At least 1 year of experience in a compliance, quality control, or regulatory role within the food industry. Thorough understanding of ISO, FSSC, Halala etc standards. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and engage staff on compliance matters. Must not have been part of YES4YOUTH program before Ability to work under pressure must be health conscious and energetic adaptable and flexible eager to learn and develop new skills

Pay: R6000,00 per month
