Compliance Officer: Security
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Security or Risk Management (NQF6)
Drivers License
Aviation Security Level 3 & Dangerous Goods (Group A)
Auditor, Security, Safety & Risk Management training
2 years or more in aviation security or similar
Strong knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations
Solid report writing, auditing, analytical and communication skills
Comfortable working in a large warehouse environment
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and support the companys Security Management System
Conduct vulnerability assessments and track corrective actions
Participate in internal/external audits
Investigate and report security incidents (including IQSMS logging)
Monitor performance of security service providers
Ensure security equipment is maintained and used correctly
Conduct inspections, spot checks and enforce compliance with SOPs
Engage with airport authorities, SAPS, customs and airlines
Communicate security updates and encourage a strong security culture
