Job Description
My client, a financial services organization with a diverse portfolio, is currently looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Compliance Officer (Managerial level) to join their young and futuristic Compliance Department.
The successful contender would be an individual who is FSCA (CAT I & II) registered and has experience in compliance frameworks, POPI information and has sound judgment. If this aligns with your career goals and plans, then apply now!
Duties:
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain an internal control framework
- Implement compliance program (assurance coverage plan)
- Remedial action plans and risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor and validate files, technical and documentary support
- Complaints resolution
- Training and ongoing performance management of employees
- Identify and investigate compliance breaches
- BCom/LLB or related
- Postgraduate/Honours (Risk or Compliance management) xe2x80x93 advantageous
- FSCA Compliance Officer (CAT I & II)
- RE1 & 5 exams
- Min. 5 years risk and compliance experience
- Min. 1 year managerial or supervisory experience
- Investment Management experience
