Role Purpose

This opportunity is for interns to use their academic background in the workplace and to obtain legal and compliance management experience within Group Compliance. This internship will equip candidates for a career in the afore mentioned fields and also other financial services roles.
Requirements

• Legal (LLB, BCom Law, BA Law)

• No working experience required

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and workoutputs: Compliance & Legal

• Conduct research on legal orcompliance related topics and draftfindings.

• Assist with the resolution andfollow-up of Actions and Issuesarising from meetings.

• Keep abreast of changes in theregulatory and risk managementlandscape (both internal andexternal).

• Assist, support and contribute toRisk Management and ComplianceManagement with:

• Performing accurate riskassessments.
• Effective implementation of policiesand guidelines.
• The development and managementof risk and compliance plans.
• Please check if the qualifications are still relevant
• Tracking and monitoring of key riskindicators, controls, and actionplans.
• Assist in compiling risk andcompliance reports.
• Attend to any other responsibilitiesassigned such as minute takingreport writing and other ad-hocqueries.
