About the team
The Portfolio Implementation team model portfolio manager driven investment views, facilitate tactical trade instructions, monitor asset allocations and cash balances, and manage portfolio constructions and liquidations. The team work in a dynamic, fast paced environment where accuracy and clear communication are paramount to success. The team collaborate closely with multiple departments across the business including portfolio managers, traders, operations, compliance and client onboarding.
In this role you will:

+ Partner with portfolio managers and traders to efficiently implement investment views across Emerging Market Debt (EMD) portfolios
+ Oversee trade orders from inception to completion
+ Develop expertise in the order management system and actively seek to improve processes
+ Handle oversight of fund cash flows, rebalancing of portfolios, and ongoing monitoring of asset allocations, cash positions, and foreign exchange sweeps
+ Manage cash within all relevant portfolios, placing cash out on overnight deposit or other such suitable money market instruments
+ Manage currency hedging for all relevant portfolios, including necessary rolls and adjustments
+ Manage derivative rolls, such as futures, interest rate swaps and credit default swaps
+ Develop a deep understanding of investment mandates and monitor portfolio compliance with investment guidelines and regulatory restrictions
+ Manage portfolio transitions and restructures, delivering optimal outcomes for clients
You should consider applying if you have:

+ 3+ years of experience in portfolio implementation across fixed income and derivatives markets
+ Experience with Charles River is highly advantageous
+ Proven experience managing portfolio transitions, restructures, or asset transfers
+ Proficiency in Excel, and a solid understanding of MS Office. VBA and Power BI desirable
+ Familiarity with Bloomberg
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Strong investment knowledge with a keen interest in financial markets and instruments
+ A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
+ Robust problem-solving abilities
+ A relevant degree, CFA advantageous
