Job Description
Hire Resolve has partnered with a great mining company in Limpopo, which is seeking the expertise of a Community Development Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the business and social risks associated with mining and production activities.
- Form strategic partnerships with the multi-stakeholder forum and ensure accurate reporting of data.
- Ensure the company is compliant with DMR, HR statutory and legal requirements.
- Analyse the community risk and ensure minimal disruption to the mine.
- Strong support to Head office managers regarding community and HR issues.
- Offer an advisory role to mine manager and act as their eyes and ears on the ground.
- Engage relevant stakeholders in order to achieve accepted outcomes.
- Contribute to local socio-economic development activities in the areas.
- Increase positive outcomes of activities whilst reducing the negative aspects on the operations and the community
- Grade 12
- Degree in Human Behaviour, Sociology, Social work, Industrial Psychology
- 10 - 12 yearsxe2x80x99 experience community and stakeholder management in a mining environment
- Salary: R1M/yr - R1.2M/yr, salary negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
