Asset manager, with a great track record are looking at the marketing team and recognise that they need a great comms person to join their team!
You will report to the marketing manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• You will be responsible for proofreading, editing, compiling and / or writing various communications and marketing materials for business - to ensure that these are clear, relevant and the highest possible standard, so that the essence of the company brand is consistently and accurately represented;
• You will be responsible for proof reading and editing:

• Bi-annual and quarterly fund reports;
• Job specs;
• Client mailer test emails;
• Events and webinars: invitations, blurbs, post-event summaries;
• Copy for design work e.g. calendars, invites and exhibition stands;
• You will be responsible for compiling:

• Marketing collateral - brochures, reports and other documents required for marketing the business and its keynote funds;
• You will be responsible for writing:

• Staff bios for the investment team and others when required:

• Compile bios of new staff from the HR staff model;
• Ensure all existing bios are updated at least once annually;
• Style guide: collaborate with the content specialist to keep this relevant and up-to date;
• Client letters;
• Press releases;
• Holding statements;
• Ensure letterheads are kept up-to-date and reflect any board changes;
• You will be required to develop and formalise optimal editing processes and service-level agreements with other teams in the business;
• You will be required to back up the content specialist when necessary and fill in where needed;
• You will be required to analyse and adapt source information and research findings to the context concerned.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• You have bachelor's degree with an English major; or a bachelor's degree in Marketing or Journalism, or equivalent communications qualification;
• You have a minimum of 8 years' current, relevant writing experience, preferably in financial services where writing, proofreading and compiling reports were the primary activities;
• You have a journalism, financial or publishing background - this would be beneficial;
• You are a powerful wordsmith: proficient in long and short copy, corporate letter writing, report writing and compilation;
• You have a basic understanding of financial markets and the asset management industry.
