My client is a JSE listed group that specializes within the financial services sector headquartered in Gauteng.
The successful incumbent will report to the Group Procurement Manager and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the performance of products or services within the assigned category. Conducting market research and analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the category. Collaborating with suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure the availability of quality products or services within the category. Working to control and reduce the costs associated with the category, while maintaining quality standards. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the category, such as supply chain disruptions or regulatory changes.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom - Logistics or Procurement
- 5 years Commodity or Procurement experience
