Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager to take full ownership of the company's operations, strategy, and business performance. This is a pivotal role, requiring a commercially astute leader with a strong background in logistics, business development, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company's commercial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
- Lead financial planning and cost management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance service offerings and market positioning.
- Manage key supplier and stakeholder relationships, negotiating contracts and optimising procurement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain high operational standards.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Proven experience in a senior commercial, operational, or business management role within the logistics industry.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive teams and business objectives.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- A relevant degree or qualification in business, logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
