A vacancy has arisen at our client for a Commercial Manager. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the company''s financial success by contributing to the oversight of contracts, pricing strategies, and supply chain relationships. Rather than directly managing these functions, the successful candidate will work collaboratively across departments to identify risks and optimise the processes that underpin our commercial business operations. They will act as a key link between production, sales, and finance to support profitability and risk mitigation.
Entry Criteria: Education and Experience

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Commerce.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Exposure to international markets.

FinancialandBusinessAcumen

• Understanding profit and loss (P&L) statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to analyse financial reports and make strategic decisions.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost control.

ContractManagementandNegotiation

• Proficient in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation.
• Knowledge of legal frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle tenders, bids, and procurement processes.

Project Management

• Effective planning and management of commercial projects.
• Understanding risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.

• Skilled in leading and motivating teams across sales, finance, and operations.

• Coordinate production planning with sales forecasts.

• Manage customer contracts and agreements.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality control.

• Conduct competitive analysis and market research.
