Job Advert Summary
Bidvest Tank Terminals has an opportunity for a Commercial Accountant. This opportunity exists within the Commercial Department, based in Head Office, reporting to the Commercial Manager. The candidate must meet the following minimum criteria.
Responsible for invoicing /credit notes/queries and revenue reporting in the Commercial Department.
Minimum Requirements
Commercial degree
4 years general Commercial/ Finance experience
Excellent on Microsoft Office
Experience on SAP would be advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities
Approval of all invoices (Storages, general and movements)
Review of all credit notes and resolution of all queries raised by customers
Supervise distribution of invoices & credit notes to customers
Ensure revenue is complete and accurate
Review monthly stock and invoicing schedules
Prepare monthly revenue reports and recons
Maintain contract register
Prepare and update schedule of charges
Capture new rates/dates on SAP system
Review and propose changes/amendments to customer contracts
Assist annual budgeting process, maintenance of customer contracts and Masterfile data
Assist with debtors in the Commercial Department
Assist with customer increases and prepare rate escalation tables
