Who You Are:
3+ years in collections, accounts receivable, or credit management
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in collections or customer service
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Strong understanding of collections processes, AR management, and relevant regulations
High attention to detail -- accuracy is your default
Excellent communicator: clear, confident, and customer-focused
Skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and handling escalations
Experienced with collections software, CRMs, and MS Office
Adaptable -- you thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments
Organized, decisive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Able to work full-time on-site during
3 PM - 12 AM
shift
Bonus Points For:
Certification in credit management (ACA or similar)
Experience in a well-funded startup or high-growth setting
Knowledge of credit risk management and dispute resolution techniques
What You'll Own:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of collections agents
Conduct daily training, performance check-ins, and team meetings
Evaluate team performance using quality and productivity metrics
Support recruitment, onboarding, and fair workload distribution
Develop and execute strategies to reduce aged receivables and boost cash flow
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve disputes
Monitor key KPIs and remove process bottlenecks
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Handle escalated cases and negotiate payment arrangements
Maintain accurate reports and oversee all daily collection activities
Prepare performance reports and analyze payment trends
Use data to improve strategy, efficiency, and risk management
Drive continuous improvement to reduce DSO and enhance team performance
Stay updated on industry best practices and introduce innovative solutions
Identify compliance risks and ensure secure handling of customer data
